Who we are and what this covers
LB Pro Cleaning Services ("LB Pro", "we", "us") is a residential and commercial cleaning company based in Troy, New York, serving a twenty-mile radius across the Capital Region. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us, book a service or use lbprocleaningservices.com, how we use it, and what choices you have.
It applies to information collected through this website, by telephone, by text message, by email and in the course of providing cleaning services at your home or place of business. It does not apply to third-party websites we may link to, which operate under their own policies.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you request an estimate or book a service, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, service address, the type of property, details relevant to the work (number of bathrooms, pets, surface types, access arrangements) and any preferences or instructions you provide.
Access information. For recurring clients, this may include a key, a lockbox code, a gate code, a building entry code or an alarm disarm sequence. This category is treated as confidential and is described separately below.
Service records. We keep the written cleaning plan for your address, visit dates, work performed, invoices, payments and correspondence between us.
Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs record the IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed. This is used for security and to understand which pages are useful.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers or health information.
How we use your information
To provide estimates, schedule visits, perform cleaning services, invoice for work and respond to your questions.
To maintain the written cleaning plan for your address so that any assigned team delivers the service you agreed to.
To contact you about upcoming visits, schedule changes, weather cancellations and follow-up after service.
To keep records required for accounting, tax and insurance purposes.
To improve our services, including reviewing feedback and complaints.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it for another party's marketing purposes.
Text messages and SMS consent
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may send text messages relating to your service: appointment confirmations, reminders, arrival notices, schedule changes and replies to your questions.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. You may decline text messages and still book with us by telephone or email.
Message frequency varies with your service schedule. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages, except that we may still contact you by telephone or email about a scheduled visit. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (518) 805-9874 or info@lbprocleaningservices.com.
Mobile information collected for the purpose of sending text messages, including your consent to receive them, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. It is shared only with the messaging providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, and only to that extent.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Access credentials for your property
Where you provide a key, lockbox code, entry code or alarm sequence, that information is held at company level rather than being carried informally by an individual cleaner, and is disclosed only to personnel assigned to your address.
Access information is used only during agreed service windows. It is removed from our records when your service ends, and physical keys are returned to you or destroyed at your instruction.
If you believe access information has been compromised, contact us immediately at (518) 805-9874 so it can be revoked and replaced.
How we share information
Service providers. We use third parties for functions such as scheduling and customer relationship management, text and email delivery, payment processing, accounting and website hosting. They receive only the information needed to perform their function and are required to protect it.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or court order, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect the safety of any person.
Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, client records may transfer as part of that transaction. You would be notified before your information became subject to a different privacy policy.
Insurance and claims. In the event of a claim involving property damage or injury, relevant records may be shared with our insurer and any parties required to handle the claim.
Data security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the size of our business and the sensitivity of the information we hold, consistent with the data security requirements of the New York SHIELD Act (General Business Law § 899-bb).
In practice this means access to client records is limited to personnel who need it, access credentials are stored separately from general client records, this website is served over HTTPS, and paper records are secured and destroyed when no longer needed.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting New York residents' private information occurs, we will provide notification as required by General Business Law § 899-aa.
How long we keep information
Estimate requests that do not result in a booking are retained for up to twelve months.
Client service records, invoices and correspondence are retained for the period required by tax and insurance rules, generally seven years.
Access credentials are removed promptly at the end of service, as described above.
You may ask us to delete information we are not required to retain, and we will do so.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep. Contact us at info@lbprocleaningservices.com or (518) 805-9874.
You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any such message, and out of text messages by replying STOP. Operational messages about a scheduled visit are separate from marketing.
New York does not currently provide the same statutory consumer data rights as some other states. We extend the access, correction and deletion requests described above to all clients regardless of where they live.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function correctly. If analytics or advertising tools are added in future, this policy will be updated before they are deployed and, where required, consent will be requested.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so will not prevent this website from working.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revised date at the top of this page indicates the most recent version. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to active clients directly.
